Descrizione

Print stainless steel metal parts on common (FFF) 3D printers.

BASF's Ultrafuse 316L is an innovative metal filament with polymer content for producing all-metal parts using the simplest 3D printing process (FFF). You'll benefit from years of experience with metal powder injection molding (MIM) technologies and a proven debinding and sintering process (Catamold®).

The filament has a metal content of over 80%. The uniform distribution of metal within the binder matrix reduces the risk of errors and increases the success rate. Due to the immobilization of metal particles in the binder matrix, the potential for risk when handling fine metal powders is dramatically reduced compared to Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), Direct Metal Deposition (DMD), and Binder Jetting.

Ultrafuse 316L is compatible with both Bowden and direct drive extruders.

Note: BASF Ultrafuse's current filaments were sold under the Innofil3D brand until the end of 2019. The Dutch manufacturer was previously acquired by the German chemical company BASF. As part of the acquisition, the filaments were renamed and the packaging was modified. The printing material remains the same high-quality filament as before.
