ULTRA 2
ULTRA 2 is equipped with a hot chamber that can reach 250°C and therefore allows the use of a wide range of materials , from basic and technical polymers up to the most demanding high-performance polymers.
This advantage is due to reaching a temperature close to or above the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the polymer used. Furthermore, the heated filament chamber maintains the optimal condition of the filaments thanks to a controlled temperature of up to 120°C with humidity monitoring. This allows for a continuous workflow without the need for pre-drying between prints. Thanks to these conditions, it is possible to achieve better layer adhesion, improved mechanical characteristics, lower residual stress, and reduced wrapping or cracking effects.
The machine comes with monitoring software called AARNI , which tracks print activity, providing insight into optimal printing conditions.
The Open Material System allows the machine to print many more materials than “closed systems”.
