Waste-free printing

The XL is designed to ensure efficient multi-material printing, with little to no waste and extremely fast operation.

While it is common to use a small priming tower to stabilize nozzle pressure, thanks to properly dried filament and cleaning options in the infill, the XL is able to print without waste.

There is no need for cleaning towers, nor for filaments scattered around the printer.

Combining materials

Individual print heads allow you to easily load different materials and combine them during a single print. For example, you can use flexible materials alongside PETG or use PLA to create easily removable supports.

Additionally, if your project requires the use of advanced and expensive materials, such as PCCF, you can use cheaper materials for the supports, thus reducing your overall printing costs.

Toolchanger XL

The tool changer is the signature feature of the Original Prusa XL, allowing you to keep up to five materials loaded at all times and print multi-material objects at unprecedented speed. Thanks to the ability to keep filaments already loaded in the nozzle, time-consuming filament changes are eliminated.

The tool changer replaces heads quickly and, thanks to an optimized mechanical design, offers exceptional reliability.

With the ability to load up to five 2kg spools, the XL can print objects up to 10kg without the need for manual intervention on the printer.
