A filament for functional and end-use applications
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+ is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite filament based on polyamide 612 (PA612, nylon 612). PA612 inherits the best characteristics of both PA6 and PA12, such as toughness and low water absorption. By adding 15% of short carbon fibers with optimized length distribution by weight, the mechanical, thermal, and even surface quality of printed parts are all improved.
Compared to Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF, it features a higher strength-to-weight ratio, improved interlayer bond quality (strength in the Z-direction), and improved dimensional stability. After annealing, thermal and mechanical properties are further improved. PA12 CF+ is an excellent choice for lightweight, durable end-use applications, such as jigs, fixtures, and many other functional parts in the manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace industries.

Please note that carbon fiber reinforced filament is abrasive and can quickly wear out brass nozzles. It is recommended to print carbon fiber filament with a hardened nozzle.
