A new generation of industrial fiber-reinforced composite filaments for Hyper FFF®
The Hyper Core filament line is defined as a new generation of professional and industrial fiber-reinforced composite filaments for Hyper FFF®. Fiber-reinforced composite filaments are well-known materials for producing end-use parts and heavy-duty applications with superior strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. However, high-speed printing with fiber-reinforced filaments presents many challenges, such as reduced flow, poorer interlayer bond quality, and faster nozzle wear.
To overcome these challenges, Raise3D developed a new extrusion technology to form a filament cross-section with a fiber-rich inner core and a polymer-coated outer skin for the Hyper Core family. During high-speed FFF printing, the thick polymer skin of Hyper Core PPA GF25 filament improves the healing and bonding process of the polymer across the interface of adjacent layers and lines. Hyper Core PPA GF25 is optimized for rapid melting speed at the hot end and a good balance between print efficiency, quality, performance, and cost.
Thanks to the unique distribution structure of the coated skin and fiber (25% by weight), Hyper Core PPA GF25 exhibits high stiffness (6.6 GPa), strength (98 MPa), heat resistance (189°C), and exceptional print quality. Hyper Core PPA GF25 is the ideal choice for various industrial applications requiring high performance, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
