Flexible shock absorption
Nanovia TPE 22D is a flexible filament with a shore hardness of 22D/90A that allows for 3D printing shock and vibration absorbers. It features particularly strong interlaboratory adhesion and wear resistance.
Description
Nanovia TPE 22D allows you to create flexible parts with excellent interlayer adhesion. Easy to print, this material is widely used for industrial shock and vibration absorption, as well as for parts that require drastic deformation.
Advantages
- Great flexibility
- Great adhesion between layers
- Shock resistant
Application recommendations
Conservation
- Store in an airtight container with desiccant, away from direct sunlight.
- Dehydrate for 4 hours at 50°C before printing after prolonged exposure to humidity.
Press
Due to its flexible nature, it is recommended to use a direct drive extruder.
The tension between the spool and the extruder should be minimal or nonexistent, to avoid permanent stretching of the filament, which can cause under-extrusion.
- Extrusion temperature: between 220 and 240 °C
- Heated bed temperature: between 30 and 50 °C
Post-treatment
Due to its softness, Nanovia TPE 22D cannot be sanded.
Health and safety
Press
It is recommended that Nanovia TPE 22D be printed in a room with exhaust ventilation or with appropriate breathing apparatus. Printing ABS produces a VOC byproduct.
Certifications
