Virucide ISO 21702
Nanovia PLA VX filament, made from PLA with an active virucidal charge, is ISO 21702 certified for its antiviral activity. Nanovia VX technology (patent pending) actively limits the spread of viruses and pathogens on its surface.
Description
Easily print everyday objects with Nanovia PLA VX, specially designed for additive manufacturing. This filament limits the spread and risk of biological contamination and is ISO 21702:2019 certified.
The virucidal properties of Nanovia PLA VX allow it to eliminate 86.8% and 98.7% of the H1N1 virus after a contact period of 1 and 2 hours, respectively.
Thanks to its radical action and safety for skin contact, Nanovia PLA VX is perfectly suited for the manufacturing of everyday items.
Virucidal properties
Virucidal properties of Nanovia PLA VX on the H1N1 virus
The virucidal test was conducted according to ISO 21702 by an independent laboratory under standardized conditions, on FFF 3D printed test samples with the H1H1 influenza virus.
Advantages
- Virucide certified according to ISO 21702 on H1N1 influenza (H1N1 is a shell-like virus similar to COVID-19)
- No risk of contact
- Self-decontamination/prevents the formation of a biofilm
- Easy to print
- Food safe
- Long-term efficiency
Other formats
The Nanovia VX product range consists of 2 types of 3D filaments, developed to limit the spread of infectious viruses:
PLA VX: Print everyday objects with ease
Flex VX: Flexible filament that absorbs shock and distortion (soles....)
Application recommendations
Conservation
- Store in an airtight container with desiccant, away from direct sunlight.
