Descrizione
Reinforced with fiberglass
Nanovia PETG GF is an FFF filament suitable for the production of structural and technical objects for outdoor applications. Resistant to water and temperatures up to 80°C, it is enriched with UV-resistant additives. Its glass fiber-reinforced matrix makes it 40% stronger than native PETG. The glass fibers, in addition to facilitating the 3D printing process, increase the rigidity of the parts.
Description
Combining glass fibers, UV-protective additives and PETG, which is natively waterproof and resistant to temperatures up to 80°C, Nanovia PETG GF UV is the perfect filament for parts subjected to outdoor conditions.
Nanovia PETG GF UV does not require a 3D printer with a closed/heated enclosure, unlike ASA, which is commonly used for outdoor components.
This ease of printing is made possible by the addition of glass fibers which greatly reduce the deformation of the polymer during the 3D printing process.
Nanovia PETG GF UV significantly improves the mechanical properties of printed parts. It is twice as stiff and 40% stronger than native PETG filament.
Glass fibers do not conduct electricity, unlike the carbon fibers of Nanovia PETG CF.
Advantages
- UV and water resistant
