Descrizione

This FFF filament, loaded with 71% by mass of fine silicon carbide (SiC) particles, allows the creation of 100% SiC after sintering (thermal sintering without chemical debinding). This ceramic material withstands temperatures up to 2200°C. Printable with most FFF 3D printers without a casing, the "green" parts can be post-treated and printed with standard equipment.

      Application recommendations

      Conservation

      • Store in an airtight container with desiccant, away from direct sunlight.
      • Dehydrate for 4 hours at 60°C before printing after prolonged exposure to humidity.

      It is recommended to use a reinforced nozzle, suitable for abrasive materials.

        Subsequent treatment

        Normal post-treatment techniques can be applied to green parts (sanding, polishing, tapping, drilling, tooling, etc.)

        Sintering
        The sintering of Nanovia Cr products occurs in two consecutive phases:

        • A debinding step at a relatively low temperature of 400°C, which evacuates the binder.
        • A sintering step directly following the debinding step, at 2050 °C, which fuses the remaining ceramic particles together.
