Kimya PEI-9085 3D filament belongs to the family of thermoplastic polyimides. Polyetherimide (PEI) is an amorphous thermoplastic. It features good temperature resistance, high abrasion resistance, and high dimensional stability. It is used in industries such as aerospace, railways, electronics, and transportation. Kimya PEI-9085 3D filament is based on Sabic's ULTEM® and has the following properties:

- Flame retardant - suitable for UL94 V0
- Railway fire and smoke standard EN45545
- Aerospace Standard FAR 25.853
