AESUB white is a permanent scanning spray. It creates a thin, even, opaque coating on the surface of the scanned object.
In the 3D scanning industry, there are often difficulties with glossy surfaces or transparent objects. The projected light refracts off the objects, and the image captured by the scanner cannot be clearly assigned to a geometry. In these cases, 3D scanning spray can help. The spray is used to spray the scanned objects, creating a matte, white surface. Scanning sprays therefore greatly improve scan quality.
AESUB white contains pigments, blowing agents, and solvents and has been optimized for material compatibility. With improved surface homogeneity and a reduced film thickness, AESUB white sets new standards. Unlike conventional sprays, AESUB scanning spray does not contain titanium oxide, which has been classified by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) as a carcinogen when inhaled through the respiratory tract.
After use, the scanned object must be cleaned or disposed of if cleaning is impossible. For effective cleaning, use a soft brush combined with a cloth dampened with water.
