3DXMAX® PC is a premium high-temperature polycarbonate filament made using Sabic's Lexan® polycarbonate. Our PC has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it ideal for demanding production and prototype printing.
The advantages of 3DXMAX® PC:
- High thermal properties, with a Tg of 147°C
- The amorphous structure gives low, nearly isotropic shrinkage
- Excellent ductility and impact resistance
- Very low odor during printing
- Wide working range of 280-310°C
Recommended print settings:
- Extruder: 280-310°C
- Bed temperature: 110-120°C
- Bed Prep: Magigoo Bed Prep or 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape Gives Us the Best Results
- Other: No cooling fan with 20mm/s print speed as a starting point
- Heated room: recommended
- Supports: AquaTek™ USM Water-Soluble Universal Support Material X1 is ideal for complex parts.
- Drying instructions: 120°C for 4 hours.
